Dear Adventurers,

This is Sang-Wook Woo, Producer of the Seal M development team.

As mentioned in the previous developer note, we prepared two big updates for August.

Today, I would like to talk about our 2nd major update in August, which is scheduled to be updated next week.

1. New Class “Cook”

Seal Online has had a variety of classes that adventurers have loved over the past 20 years.

It took a lot of thought to choose the first updated class to be introduced in Seal M.

Seal M has the purpose of allowing adventurers to enjoy Seal Online on mobile devices, but also to provide adventurers with new experiences that Seal Online does not have.

Our first class update is prepared for that purpose, it has been designed in a new form that is a little different from “Cook” in Seal Online. Since it is a class added after the PVP system from last update, this new class update was prepared with the thought that it would be nice to have PvP-specific characteristics unlike ‘Cook’ in Seal Online.

Let me briefly introduce the details of “Cook”.
Cook’s basic attack power is not very high, but it has several debuff skills, so if you use these debuffs in the right place and time, you can deal a great damage like Warrior to your enemies.

On the other hand, targets immune to abnormal conditions will be the Cook’s weakness as it prevents them from fully exerting their debuff effects, so quickly identifying the opponent's abilities is a keypoint in battle.

So, the fun factor of Cook is how quickly you can identify enemies and how many debuffs you can apply to enemies. It is expected that the adventurer and party members' combat efficiency will greatly change.

I think it will be a class for intermediate and advanced users who need that much control.

And in line with the “Cook” update, there will be a Cook event and various events for new/returning users, so please look forward to “Cook” class update and events.

2. Two New pets

Lobsters and Qs, which were previously encountered as Bales, will be added as new pets.

The two new pets added this time have a special skill that 'increases the experience obtained from Request Board Quests', so we expect them to help adventurers grow quickly.

In addition, the “Heroic Ginseng Digger” skill in the Magic stats pets will be added to the Q type pets as requested by adventurers, so make sure to get it and use it.

3. Party Fishing

The content of fishing is one of the important identities of the Seal world, and we plan to continuously reinforce and strengthen the content in a way that a community can be formed among adventurers.

As a part of that, we will plan to add party-fishing.

In party-fishing, only famous adventurers can provide party-fishing spots to other adventurers.

The bigger the fishing spot, the more adventurers you can enjoy fishing with, so raise your Fame level and show off your party fishing spot to other adventurers in town.

4. Couple Ranking

In the meantime, it was not possible to know who the best couple in the world of Shiltz was, but through this update, a couple ranking will be introduced so that you can check which couple is the best couple in the world of Shiltz and who they are.

In order to be listed in the couple rankings, cooperation between couples is required above all else.

In other words, since the cumulative number of roses that can only be obtained through couple play is the main criterion for ranking, you must actively do couple missions.

If cumulative number of roses is the same as another couple, long-term relationship couples will be given priority in ranking, so maintaining a couple for a long time is an advantageous condition to become a ranker.

Couple and Fishing contents will be representative contents of the Shiltz world, and we plan to continuously update the couple recommendation system and couple mini-games in the future, so please look forward to it.

5. Hair Salon

Finally, the hair salon of Seal Online will also be opened in Seal M, so adventurers can decorate their hair with a style and color that suits their taste.

The owner of the hair salon is undoubtedly the best hairdresser in the world of Shiltz, but the owner will need a few ingredients to get the style the way the adventurers want, so you have to bring them yourself.

6. Guild collection improvements

The current guild collection was difficult for all guild members to participate in because it required them to collect specific items.

To solve this problem, donations will be expanded by collecting specific parts (Types) rather than only specific items. These improvements were made so that adventurers can receive a certain reward whenever they donate the items, they have acquired for actively participating and contributing in this activity.

Of course, if the target quantity is achieved, additional rewards will be provided to all guild members, so I hope all guild members will have a lot of activities and participation to make the guild life more active.

7. Improvement of Rift contents

Rift content was introduced in the previous grand update, but we are preparing additional features that were not shown, one after another.

The biggest feature in the Rift content applied this time is the addition of contribution rankings and rewards between guilds for hunting Galadriel.

In addition, for the contribution competition between guilds, the contribution list is always exposed, and Galadriel's remaining time is displayed, so that guilds and individuals can continue fierce competition to defeat Galadriel.

In addition, the of the targeting window has been improved to make it easier to recognize and select the situation around you than before, and improvements have been made to enjoy Rift content more fun, such as Galadriel's attack effect recognition and Galadriel's cry to announce the start of the attack.
